Carson Street in Kew is a beautiful street, with fantastic visual appeal. Greenery and trees line the pavement, and comprises of some pretty large family style homes. Living here are mostly older families, more than likely due to the proximity to some of the best schools in all of Australia such as Xavier College and Trinity College.

The location is perfect as well, being just around the corner from Kew Junction, with Safeway supermarket and Leo's boutique supermarket (I love Leo's, so friendly!). A five minute drive to Kew Junction will also see you being a regular at all the restaurants it has to offer, not to mention the pubs, such as The Clifton and The Skinny Dog Hotel. Great pubs I have spent many a night at!

One of the main detractors however is that at peak hour, it is a MAJOR thoroughfare. Traffic coming away from the city off Barkers Rd pour through to Studley Park Rd to avoid the traffic build up at Kew Junction on High Street. As such the street has many speed bumps.

Overall, while a bit of a thoroughfare at peak hour, the houses are beautiful and quite large, and visually the street looks fantastic. Carson Street in Kew would be considered one of the more desirable streets in the entire area, and I highly recommend it.
