Hi all,

Just wanted to get some popular opinion on what people's favourite restaurants are in the area? I naturally have a few favourites, but after they changed management, they just aren't so good anymore.

Anyone got any good suggestions for just plain ol good eating?

Womper - for something cheap but good, there's a decent Thai place called "Celadons" which is on Camberwell Road, near the intersection of Camberwell Road and Harold Street. I reckon it's awesome - more of a takeaway place than a sit down place though.

There's obviously all those places opposite the Rivoli as well - they're meant to be good eats, but I think they're pretty pricey.

There's another place called "McDonalds" (or something like that) - it's got great quality stuff ...apparently it's quite healthy too...

I love Orsini's, great old fashioned Italian home style food (my wife's Italian and she rates it). The Carpark cafe is good for a quick bite also. Georges seems a little up themselves.

depends on what you want womper007.

Good for Breakfast : Carpark Cafe on Burke Rd
Good for Lunch: Cafe Moravia or Gorges Restaurant also on Burke Road
Good for Dinner: I agree with JVS on this one, Orsini's is very tasty.
