24 hour pharmacies/chemists - any around Camberwell (or Melbourne)?

The other night I was looking for a late night chemist for our sick child. In Camberwell/Canterbury all were shut by 10pm.

Anyone know of any - when desperate I would be prepared to drive to the other side of Melbourne so distance isnt an issue.

I don't think there is a 24 hour chemist in melbourne

Closest to you would Mulqueeny Midnight Pharmacy which is open until Midnight.

I've used the Mulqueeny chemist also. It was referred to me by nearby Cabrini Hospital. It get's very busy at night with most of Melbourne visiting for emergency medicines.

now this is a great post, I know for a fact that at least three times I have been driving around stupid mad in Port Melbourne hoping to find a 24 hour one. Thanks for the heads up guys.

M.A. Johnson Pharmacy in Lower Templestowe is fantastic. It's an Amcal chemist.

It's not 24 hours but is still 9am-9pm every day except Christmas.

Address: 1 Macedon Road. Lower Templestowe. Vic. 3107.

recently used the Nunawading Pharmacy - its open midnight most nights. Located at 128 Springvale Rd, phone is (03) 9877 7967.

Having recently moved to Templestowe, I have used the MA Johnson Pharmacy at Macedon Square, it's not 24 hours but open late in case you need to fill a prescription.

I have seen an ad on tv for 2 24 hour chemist that also say they have doctors there too, but I only got to get one address, which is in Berwick.... the address being 50 Kangan Drive Berwick

:-) I only wish I could have got the other address too, but ads on TV are very quick, you barely get to find a pen!

I'm sure the other one was on the other side of the city, so it would be handy for other people to know.... I will keep an eye out on the telly, but have only seen the ad twice

Mill Park Superclinic - 250 Childs Road, Mill Park. Phone (03) 9436 4155

On their website they say they are one of two 24 hour pharmacy locations - 7 days including public holidays.

I myself have wanted to know if there were 24hr chemists around, so it's very handy to know, and I'm sure there will be many other people releived to know where they are... good team work he he :-)

Thanks for the tip on 24 hr chemist folks. In this day and age, you would think they would be on tap, you only of course find out that is not the case at 2 am when bubba is screaming. Im happy to say that Childs Rd. chemist was ready for business at 3:15 am and their pricing was normal. I'll make a point of supporting their business.
