Beautiful street on the old Frognall estate

Frognall Place, is one of Canterbury's hidden gems. Being a court, it has the benefits of low traffic and noise and the homes are some of Canterbury's newest (and nicer) additions. Home prices would be from $1.2 to $3 million. You can see the Frognall mansion through the end of the street. Great (un...

Small street with a nursing home on it.

Gascoyne St is a cut through between Canterbury Road and Allenby Road. Some high quality homes from $800k to over $2 million for some of the larger blocks. You can easily walk to the shops at Burke Road or catch the tram. The nursing home does take up a large proportion of the street but doesn't see...

Quiet street across from Boroondara Park

Beaumont St, Canterbury is no longer than 500 metres with homes running along only one side of the road. There's a small mix of shops including 7/11 and a Fish and Chip shop that has changed hands a few times. The coffee shop on the corner is always busy with locals on the weekend. Overall would be...

Quaint Village Style Shopping Strip

Maling Road is home to the Cafe Latte set in downtown Canterbury. A mix of old world antique shops and fashions for the over 40's, Maling Road is a great place for a quiet relaxing coffee break but not so great for real world shopping. Your better off to go to Burke Road in Camberwell for this. Can...

Nice street used as a cut through

Parlington St in Canterbury has some very nice homes on it and a great park on the corner of Torrington St. The trees form a nice canopy which enhance the beautiful vibe of the location. Homes would be from $700k up to $3 million. Quite a few homes have been renovated recently to take advantage of b...

One of Melbourne's most beautiful albeit busy streets

Mont Albert road in Canterbury (the stretch from Burke Road to Balwyn Road) is one of the prettiest streets around. Huge trees on both sides of the road form a canopy that covers the entire road which makes for a beautiful setting. Homes in the street range from older early 1900's to more modern Fre...

1 person have found this review helpful.
0 people found this review not helpful.

Luxury and Mansions....oh my

Monomeath Avenue is considered to be one of the best (if not the best) streets in all of Victoria. It's one of the most expensive streets, with mansions that are only rivaled by Toorak, Templestowe and Brighton.

The main attraction of Monomeath Avenue is that it ticks all the location boxes.
One of the very best suburbs in Melbourne - especially for resale

Canterbury has become Melbourne's second most prestigious suburb behind Toorak and with house prices more than doubling in recent times if you can afford to get into the market you will not lose.

In a nutshell Canterbury is a very leafy suburb, small (which enhances it's exclusivity) and surround...

If you can afford it, Canterbury is perfect place to raise a family

Canterbury is considered to be one of the best suburbs in all of Victoria. Home to some very expensive homes, Canterbury holds some of the most beautiful homes in Melbourne, mostly situated in Alexandra Avenue, Monomeath Avenue and Victoria Avenue...The golden mile of Canterbury.

Most of the peo...

Nice tree lined street

Angle Road is a typical Canterbury street. Not too many cars parked during the day. 1 average home that is run down and dilapidated but could be developed. Number of older homes, a few Edwardians and a nice quiet street during the day with number 12 being a very nice mansion on the corner.

The best of Burke Road lifestyle with the Canterbury location

We've lived in Allenby Road for about 6 years now. The location was what brought us to the area, it is so close to the city and great shopping down the road at Camberwell Junction. Although we can walk it we find more often than not we drive (too much shopping to walk back with!).

Property price...

Canterbury's most expensive street

Monomeath is home to some of Melbourne's most expensive homes. Driving down the street you will notice many styles of mansions on typical half acre blocks. The street is also famous for being the home of Kylie Minogues parents and you often see reporters outside.

Only problem I have with the str...

Nice street but you must love living opposite a school.

Torrington is the street on which Camberwell Girls Grammar School is on. The street is only small, no more than 500 metres which makes parking an absolute nightmare during school hours, compounded by the fact it is a narrow street and when cars park on both sides of the road, forget about getting th...

Walking distance to Burke Road, golden mile location in one of Melbourne's best suburbs

Lived in Canterbury for over 10 years and you really cant beat this suburb from an investment perspective. Homes have increased 300% in value in 10 years with median prices now exceeding $1 million.

Canterbury is renowned for being a tree lined suburb with some of the most beautiful streets in V...

Great Location to live, but beware nosy neighbours

Great street to live in, its very wide and everyday the values just keep going up. Close to the city, all the best schools in the state and transport is never a problem. Not that many young families(given the proliferation of private schools) and most of the older homes are owned by "old busy bodi...

1 person have found this review helpful.
0 people found this review not helpful.
