Burke Road shopping centre in Camberwell is the most convenient with a mix of fashion shops, cafes and homewares. Borders Books Camberwell is a recent addition that has proven popular. 

Chadstone shopping centre is close to all in Canterbury/Camberwell. During peak hour traffic the best way to get their is down Canterbury Road and then down Warragul Road. Non peak hour go down the South Eastern freeway. Takes only about 15 minutes this way.

Doncaster Shoppingtown is also closeby but staw away until the re-development is finished later 2008. Parking is a nightmare and many of the shops have closed down.

Victoria Gardens in Richmond is also very close, being no more than 10 minutes down Barkers Road. It lacks a variety of shops and is dominated by Ikea and Freedom Furniture. You have a couple of homewares stores but the majors Kmart, Coles can be convenient. Also a high quality Hoyts Cinema.
