Burke Road in Camberwell would have to be considered the lifeline of the suburb containing most of the shops that Camerbwell has to offer such as JB-HiFi, Safeway, EBGames, Borders etc. Burke Road in Camerbwell has something for everyone, with great restauratns like Georges, Sophia's Pizza and Pasta as well as number of Indian, Chinese and other Italian restaurants.

In a nutshell, great for shopping, not so great for traffic, so if you are after a coffee or a feed, then it's great, but traffic on the way home can be a nightmare. Avoid at all costs if driving as trams make it incredibly slow.
