Place to stay in Darling Harbour? Any advice

I will be visiting Sydney and attending a conference at the Convention Center. The only hotel I know up there is the Novatel which adjoins the centre.

Looking for a 3/4 star hotel/apartment for a week. Any thoughts?

I know it's not in darling harbor, but ive stayed at the Westin before in Sydney and it was great. Might be a little pricey for you though looking 3/4 stars.

It's not exactly in Darling Harbour but the Pensione of George St near Liverpool st is cheap and fun. It's always clean and the staff are friendsly and you're just around the corner from the Spanish district where you can get amazing food! Chinatown is very close also, and the cinema complex and train station.

Thanks AJ and BrianWard. Ended up booking at the Four Points at Darling Harbour, $160 a night. And yes the Westin is expensive - $275 minimum.
