"Like living in the suburbs"
Like a timewarp back to the 1970s, Dunstan Parade (and the rest of Garden City) is a little known residential oasis only 5km from the city. It is like living out in the 'burbs yet everything is so close! The city is 5km away, the beach a hundred metres or so, the airport is just 20 minutes drive!!!
Big parks at either end of Dunstan Parade, as well as other parks in nearby streets.
The buses are never full (you can always get a seat), and the 109 tram stop is less than 15 minutes' walk along the waterfront.
This part of Port Melbourne is very peaceful with friendly neighbours, as well as being a safe neighbourhood.
