"Close to everything"
Lived here for 5 years and love it. Parts of Ultimo are quiet, other parts are busier. All depends on where you choose to live and remember that you get what you pay for (remember this when reading a review about Ultimo from people who come here for a couple of months and live in a cheap studio apartment in a block filled with uni students). Pros
- Close to everything you need
- Range of living options (modern apartments, terrace houses, heritage apartment buildings etc)
- Hipster-free zone!
Cons
- Peak hour traffic heading towards Anzac Bridge and Harbour Bridge
- Its hard to get a residents parking pass
- Greedy taxi drivers sometimes won't take you between Ultimo and the city as they won't get a big enough fare
